After posting the last, I started looking on the internet..it seems of the caregiver provides personal care to the patient, bathing, feeding etc...it is tax deductible.
I have been told if they have a license like RN or CNA, they are tax deductible.
Also, you should not use them to clean your house...they are strictly for the care of your patient. Like all tax deductions I think there are situational exceptions...for example, I am sure it would be OK if they were required to keep the patients room clean and do the patients laundry.
