Sorry for  your loss.  I had a miscarriage at 17 weeks and had to have D&C.  My doctor told me to wait at least 1 month as lining had to build back up.  It has been 4 months, trying for 3 no luck yet.  Over 40 no time to waist.

I had a missed miscarriage back in April of this year at 9 1/2 weeks and had to have D&C.  I was told to wait two cycles to make sure my lining built back up.  We have tried for six months and just got a BFP.  My doctor put me on Clomid after four months of trying as she said there is no time to waste.  I used preseed this past month as well as a baby aspirin from day 1 to ovulation, red raspberry tea between day 1 and ovulation (supposed to help strengthen lining), as well as Robitussin before ovulation and then made sure we "tried' every other day the week before as well as the day of ovulation.  Seems like alot but I was willing to try anything at this point.  I will be 41 in a few days.  Good Luck! :)

I wanted to tell you how sorry I am for your loss and welcome you to the site. I had a D&C in May and my doctor did not restrict me. He said there is not a significantly higher risk to conceive after a D&C. That being said, I wasn't ready for a little while after so you have to take that into consideration too. Let yourself have time to heal mentally and physically before you start again. Good luck to you.

I am so sorry for your loss.......like what the others said, you don't have to wait too long to try again but I agree with mjmom69 - make sure that you are mentally and emotionally prepared to start the journey again.  Take time to grieve and when you feel strong again, you can start trying again....

SSBD to you....
