Got my Blood test results

Hi Everyone,

Went in yesterday to get my test results - Factor V leiden and Prothrombin.  Both were negative. Results for MTHFR aren't back yet but, my OB says that I don't have to worry about that because of the results of the tests mentioned. So he agreed with my DH who said that it was just "bad luck" having two m/c's.   The doctor even said to me twice , "See you SOON".   Now I know I should be relieved but, I can't help but worry for the next pregnancy.  DH is trying to ease my mind by putting it in gambling terms. He used Roulette as an example  ie:  If one keeps betting on "red" and it hits the colour black twice - the odds are the next will hit red.   ( we're not gamblers - not even lottery ticket buyers but, he's alluding to one of our vacations where we were given free casino chips and we won $150 on the table).     I'm just hoping he's right about the next pg and we'll get our prize.

Thanks for the suggestion.  My OB said that they don't usually test until after 3 m/c's ( 2 is not considered "multiple m/c"  but, he changed protocol and got me those blood tests.  I'm really hoping I'll be successful the 3rd time and that the first two were just "flukes" - really hoping. I'm trying not to think of "what ifs" right now - but what you suggested is saved on the back of my mind.

Good luck to you - and here's a heavy douse of  SSBD  !

Have you had extensive testing with an RE at a fertility clinic?  They go through everything from immunological to anatomical.  More than a regular OB will do.
