Ita: Sorry to hear that. I am sure I'm not far behind you.
Alice W: that's a positive experience for you. Hope it is your time.
Brandis mom: hope you got some got efforts in at the right time.
afm: I have had lower back pain just like af is coming. Should expect to have some spotting in the next day or two. My temps are still high (13 dpo) and that's normal for me. I did have uterine cramps 5dpo to 10dpo but they've gone.
2-1/4 hours after slipping quickly and pleasantly into lala land for the Egg Retrieval, my friend and her little boy have safely escorted me back to my house and tucked me in. I was advised to nap and relax today and go back to work tomorrow.
9 eggs retrieved. Not as exuberant an output as the 16 I had last IVF, but I will be praying for quality over quantity. I'll try to wait calmly while the little eggs are in someone else's hands. Go, donor, go!
And I have to say this about today's experience at the clinic (CWRC in Manhattan): I felt cared for, cared about, and calmly cocooned, from the receptionist who greeted me with a pleased smile when she saw I was there for ER, to the intake nurses, the anaesthesiologists, the nurses who took care of me during and after the procedure, and the friendly, efficient doctor who exuded absolute confidence and surety (a female doctor, btw). A very big change from all my previous misgivings about the clinic.
I'm going to take a brief nap, but I have to meet a project deadline today and give a presentation at a phone meeting late this afternoon. A little pampering, tea, and toast first, though!
Good luck and hugs to everyone.
Okidoki, AF came RIGHT ON TIME!!!! Just like she ALWAYS does, lol ;o)
I'm fine about it, I had my emotional hormonal cry last week, I just knew it wasn't my month.
I'm kinda thinking I could have an ovarian cyst, I only have one ovary, & ik what yucky cysts feel like;(
I think we may do one last medicated cycle, I need to talk to my DH about it, he's kinda buggging me right now....probably my hormones;)
I'll call my RE tomorrow & probably start ALL over again on Friday;)
welcome to all the new hot mammas;o)
this is a great group of girls;)
I'd like to send out a welcome to all the new members of our group and a big thank you to Savanha for running this roll call. We're gaining members daily. 84 strong now. Haven't been on much lately as DH was home on leave and we were kind of busy. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure I o'd before he got home and aunt flo showed up the day before Valentine's. He flew out this morning and will be back in April, so luckily less time to wait before he seeing him than when he left last spring. I'm holding out hope that he had some super sperm built up that might survive until I o again (maybe in 5-6 days); since I seem to have been o'ing early lately. They say that sperm can live up to 7 days. Come on, little guys, hang in there! :) You gotta have hope.
Sherri: sorry and hang in there!
Alice: you go girl! great numbers
ita17: good luck!
all the new members: hi and nice to meet you!
