Can I count on this group?

Hello Sisters,
I say that because I feel a common link with you all. I discovered this group and the site in February when an infertility dr told me that I was too old to have children and he had nothing to offer me but donor eggs, as he smiled like the grinch himself. I was 45 at the time. Turned 46 in June and not pregnancy. I never thought I would have such difficulty with ttc but I have. I won't go into all I have been through today is just not a good day to discuss, it is a low day for me. I have a very good dr now, we are trying somethings but in between I am not having cycles, I think a lot is due to stress but also I know I am getting older. My heart is very heavy. I am a believer and I know that God is in control but it has been a hard time for me. I hope I can count on you all for support. Some times I need to talk but I just don't know what to say, I am just sooo full. Thanks.

I dont know your story and I'm sorry that some RE's toss us aside. I tuned 45 in June. My re told me after my last iui, give up go get someone else's eggs! I'm not against it, but I found a dr in NYC that specializes in older woman with high fsh, his fees are much much cheaper that all the other clinics I've been to. Today I am having my egg retrival, I currently have 11-12 follicles. We are here for you honey, I'm sorry your heart is heavy!
Hugs and SSBD,
Melanie
