Is it possible to have a ''period'' while pregnant?

My partner and i recently had a problem with a condom splitting, stupidly enough i didnt think about getting emergency contraception. I had diarrea cramping (tmi sorry) for about a week after the incident, and normal period like cramping after. I also had some minor back pain and my breasts felt sore and changed colour slightly... but only slightly. My period came on time (June 14th), however was far heavier than normal and the cramping was near to unbarable. My normal periods are not like this. Also, normally, my period last for atleast a week before it completely stops. This time round its near enough stopped on the third day exactly. Could i be pregnant and should i think about visitinf my local FPC?

I had partial placental abruption at 13 weeks with first child, not only did I bleed I hemmoraged, then I was put on bed rest for 5 months so the placenta could possibly readhear with scar tissue,,,I continued to bleed every day for almost a month,,not as in hemmoraging but rather heavy bleeding had to wear night time pads 2 at a time..so its possbile to bleed very heavy and not miscarry,,,not likely but it can happen

it doesnt sound like your pregnant because your period was too heavy
some people do bleed while they are pregnant but its never heavy as if you was to have a propper heavy period while pregnant you would loose the baby.
you could go to your doctors just to make sure

no you do not get a period when pregnant. you can bleed. most women dont but yes you can bleed...but thats not a period.

not only does it sound like your period but its much heavier than your normal period. read the ec box. it explains this.
