Birth control

Does being overweight/obese effect how well nexplanon (the implant) works? I recently had unprotected sex and I wanted to make sure my birth control actually works. I’ve had it in for a year and a half, I’m 5’5 and 330lbs. I read that in obese women it may be less effective over time so I was just wondering. Thanks!

This study says no,  there is no decrease in effectiveness of an implant in heavy women.
