Please help! Pregnant? Not pregnant?

I had gotten over my period about a week ago. (Was NOT a normal period. And did not last as long as it normally does.) Anyway, something told me to take a pregnancy test. I just felt like it because I had this feeling of a possible pregnancy, I have no idea WHY I felt this way, I just did. The first test I took came out positive. One line was faint, but there was most definitely two blue very visible lines. I took another test the next day. Same results. Faint line, but no doubt that it was positive. I went to the doctor's. They did a urine test on me. That one came out negative!! What is going on??? Has anyone ever experienced this?????  I am nauseous everyday and have the worst mood swings, a little cramping in my stomach, and so on and so on. I went through all of these symptoms with my first child, who is now 5. I don't know where to go from here.. Am I pregnant? Or not? Too early to tell?? Please someone help me. I need advice.

When was the doctor's test taken? Sometimes in early pregnancy you really need to test with first morning urine, because testing later in the day means your urine has been diluted by the fluids you've drank throughout the day.

Two positive tests would mean you're pregnant. So either the doctor's test wasn't as sensitive as your one, or you've drank too much before testing at the doctors. You need to go back and have a blood test done, which is tell you for definite if you're not pregnant or not. I think you are!

Thank you so much for your input! I think I am pregnant too... I definitely DID drink too much that day when I went to the doctor's, I know this because I remember drinking a lot of water thinking it will help me pee a lot quicker since I knew they were going to do a urine test on me. Lol But that test was taken the next day after I had taken my two HPTs... I guess I should wait a little longer and go back to the doctor's? Or have them do a blood test?

I would have them do a blood test as soon as possible. You've shown positive on 2 HPTs so it would show up no bother on a blood test. Least that way it will confirm it now rather than later and you can start your prenatals etc (if you haven't already).

Well, when the doctor's urine test came out negative, and I had already told them that I had taken two HPTs which came out positive, they gave me a script for prenatal vitamins anyway because they said I very well could be pregnant, (I had mentioned a false positive maybe? They said it is very rare to have two false positives.) and that it could have been just too early to detect. So, I've been taking them, I just have to get a blood test to confirm it. I don't know if I should wait though until I actually miss a period..because I did not miss one yet... What happened was I had gotten over my period (VERY unusual period though. Did not last long at all and was not heavy like it always is) about 2 days before I had sex. (I had sex 4 times in that night, all with the same guy though lol) And that is when something made me think of pregnancy, I have NO idea why or what made me think of it. That's what made me take the tests..
