Im not sure what to think.. very confused, Please help...

Hello everyone,

Ok... so I was supposed to get my period almost 2 weeks ago, but it still hasnt come. I am sexully active and was on the pill for like a month, and stopped the day before i was due to get my period, I thougt that suddenly stopping the pill would bring it on anyways. 2 weeks later and still nothing.

My partner and I use condoms and, to my knowledge, none have broken.

I am experiencing mild yet uncomfortable cramping throughout the day and night, I am very bloated since I havent got my period yet, I feel like I am peeing alot more and my breasts are swollen and tender... and in the week I was expecting my period, (TMI!!) I got a dark brown discharge, it was very light... there was a tiny bit one day, slightly more the next day and then that was it.

I dont want to go out and buy a pregnancy test until I miss my next period (if I do) because I dont want to spend $15 for it to say "negative".

Does anyone have any ideas... could I be pregnant? or is it somthing else?

test free at health dep. and one dollar at dollar store. sounds like ur preg to me. i got the same signs as u and have been trying to get pregnant....

Take a pregnancy test just in case - you never know, it might be worth it and if it isn't then at least it'll make you feel better (:

just cause it didnt happen last time dont mean its not gonna happen this time
take a test n if its negative just carry on with the pill like normal and if you dont get your periodnext time go doctors and they might put you on a different pill

Ok, but my period has never been 2 weeks late, not even the last time i went off the pill. Plus these cramps are dirivng me crazy... what should I do?

doesnt sound like your pregnant because you used condoms AND on the pill
you have only been on the pill for a month so your body is getting used to the change, many people have messed up periods when they start the pill
you could take a test now but like i said its unlikely your pregnant

Oh, I forgot to mention, I am finding it very difficult to get to sleep at night and I am quite emotional. I usually lay in bed crying for a few hours and eventually fall asleep. I am so tired during the day but right before bed I get an energy boost. Quite annoying if you ask me!
