yes there are pills for stopping the growth of the foetus and that is an abortion.. those pills are called abortion pills.. but i would like to warn you that you should go for the doctor coz only he can give your proper doses and combination of the abortion pills which will maximize the efficiency of the task(abortion) and will try to minimize the adverse effects.. going for abortion pills by yourself or just by a nurse simply is very risky.. so be very careful...

Like Clysta said...stopping the growth of the baby IS an abortion. If you're pregnant...that's it...you're pregnant. There is no changing it without killing the baby.

k,,,fine,,,i wud do the test but dat means do i hv to stop the medicine before going for the test???and abortion ..omg i cnt even think of it,,but one f my frends told me to goto doctor and there are chances of stopping the growth of the foetus by pill(or any such medicine @ this stage).....pls say me...der may be sm othr way out.

i completely agree with clysta.. The only measure if you are pregnant is to go for an abortion.. personally i do dislike this concept cause not only are we taking a life but also it has grave consequences for the mother... homeopathic medicine to boost or start periods shall not help u.. coz if implantation has taken place it's of little help..

If you're pregnant, it can't be avoided. At that point it's too late for that. This is why you need to take proper measures beforehand. The only thing you would be able to do is abort, and you would have to see a doctor for that. This is something I wouldn't recommend or condone for any reasons, but this is my own personal feelings. Pregnancy isn't something you can just reverse. By the time a test comes back positive usually the heart and such is already beating and the baby is alive. Sex, while it might feel good, is solely made for reproduction. You can take a pregnancy test on the 4th of this month with first morning urine. If it's negative, wait a week and retest with first morning urine.

hi niharika.. symptoms vary from woman to woman and hence they cannot be relied upon.. the only way to confirm is by taking a home pregnancy test... one confirmatory sign though is missing of period if periods are late by more than ten days from their expected due date without any intake of medicine..( like ecp).. if you are so distressed dear why are u taking a chance at all.. refrain from sex or ask your partner to use condoms... any queries u are free to ask..

Not for all women. Even if you get symptoms it doesn't mean you're pregnant. Only way to know is to test.

No there isn't. Even women who are trying to get pregnant still have a waiting period where they can't do anything but wait and see how things play out. Worry won't change the outcome though, and you'll make yourself sick if you keep freaking out about it. If it's meant for you to be pregnant, you will. If it's not, you won't. Try to relax until you have a reason to worry. What's done is done, and now you just need to move on.

There doesn't have to be anything wrong for your periods to be late. They can just skip for no reason at all. Other reasons would be stress (which you definitely have done to yourself) medicines, changes in diet, rapid weight gain/loss, etc.

M extremly sry 4 dis,.....my ignorance led 2 all dis...m nt gettng d reason of my lateness of periods..is it my hormonal imbalance or some  prblm  may hv cropped up....m quite nervous.previously evn many a times my periods hv skipped 30 to 35 days....evn m suffering 4m the usual symptoms dat i go thru just b4 hvng mah periods,,,,,on the othr side m busy with my college xamz....m screwd up....m taking medicines for periods but still inside m utterly nervous and depresed ....pls smbody help me out....!!!!!

If you can't get pregnant why are you having sex? Sex is NOT meant for pleasure and to feel good. It might, but that's not it's purpose. It's a reproductive act, hence why the penis and vagina are called reproductive organs. When you make the choose to have sex, you also need to accept that this can happen (especially if it's unprotected) and should take full responsibility for those actions. It's part of being an adult and growing up. Now, I fully understand what it's like where you live, but suicide won't help or change anything beyond the fact that your problems seem solved. In reality, suicide solves nothing. I contemplated it for years and am still struggling with it sometimes, but I learned how selfish it was for me to think about it. You hurt everyone around you, not only yourself. (mine was for far different reasons that yours though--I grew up in a very abusive household and couldn't stand the pain or fear anymore) Now, you can't change what's done. You can only move on from here. Worrying yourself to death isn't going to undo anything, and if pregnancy is going to happen, it'll happen regardless of how much you fret about it. Don't worry until you have a reason to. For now, take this as a learning lesson and STOP having sex. You clearly don't want children, so wait until you're in a situation where that won't be a problem.

The problm is i cant go to a doctor here.....for such things.....yes ayurvedic and homeopathy are 2 ancient and alternative form of medicines apart 4m antibiotics that *** under allopathy.Now just yestrnight i had immense back pain and pain in abdominal part ,even i had pain in my legs....and yes m taking medicines of both ayurvedic and homeopathy for regular periods.
Generally i undergo such type of back pain wen my periods are approaching....but as per ur replies m nervous as wot may be happening inside me....m in panic if at all i get pregnant...even i cnt tek dis....m sry...but if at all this s d case m going 2 commit suicide....pls help...i cnt disclose it 2 anyone....and m helpless...pls help....

I'm not too clear on what you're asking. I'm also not too clear on ayurvedic. I've read about it, but I don't understand much else about it beyond that it's some form of alternative medicine. Are you asking if it will regulate your periods? If so, hard to say. Your doctor would be best to ask about that. As for if you have a problem, I also don't know what you mean. Are you asking if you're going to become pregnant? If so, yes you can. You won't know for at least two weeks though, and then you can test with first morning urine.

and yes u have to keep taking birth control pills regularly daily not only on the day of sex.. if you miss any one it has no effect..

Clysta has given the best possible explanation.. if u had sex today and don't want to conceive u can go for an emergency contraceptive pill.. but you can keep taking it.. and periods to occur instantly is not EC job.. you just take an EC and wait for your periods.. they might be early or late from your normal period.. but if implantation has taken place even an EC cannot help...

Emergency Contraceptive is supposed to be used as little as possible. No more than twice a year. They're NOT birth control. They're made for if your current birth control fails. Not just because you don't want to use any. Birth control is meant to be taken once a day, everyday, not just when you have sex. They don't work that way and aren't effective taken that way. I'm assuming you're NOT trying to get pregnant, so you need to understand these things better before engaging in sex or you will get pregnant. EC also doesn't jump start your period, and won't work if conception has already occurred. You would have to see a doctor for something to kick start your cycle, and they don't give it to you just because you ask.
