What are the odds?

I'm 20 years old. My fiance and I have been trying to conceive for a couple of months now, and have had unprotected sex daily. My last period began on May 28th and was completely normal (I've always had regular, normal periods). The past couple of days I have been experiencing some symptoms similar to pregnancy symptoms, so I am wondering if I am indeed pregnant. My next period is due to start on the 25th of June, so it is too soon for me to take an at-home pregnancy test. I'm just curious as to what the odds are that I am pregnant. Here are the symptoms:

- tender, somewhat swollen breasts
- a dark, almost purple lining around my nipples and somewhat darker areolas
- extreme fatigue (falling asleep earlier, sleeping later, hard to get out of bed in the morning, and remaining tired throughout the day)
- moodiness
- nausea, primarily in the morning and sometimes after meals
- sporatic dizzy spells
- mild abdominal cramps once or twice a day (they don't last long)
- change in appetite

What are the odds that I have conceived?
When can I take a test?

Thanks!

you should do a blood test when you are about a week late or a little more, becasue then it would be more accurate.

Some tests can indeed be used and test right in some women at 4 days before there missed period, but I know some women who had to wait two weeks or more before a test came back positive. It just depends because women implant at different times and have different hormone levels. Oh and on the box it says its only 30 some percent accurate 4 days before missed period plus you have to take into account if your cycle is 26, 28, 30, or more days or if your just stressing yourself into pregnancy. The same symptoms and things are happening to me. Only I'm around 5 days late. Best of luck though, Khadijah.

If you aren't due until the 25th than it would be too early to be getting any symptoms of pregnancy since the baby would of just implanted if you are indeed pregnant. Fingers crossed that you are but like the others said could be symptoms of PMS.

Rosa20 is ight, all these symptoms can accompany pms however, you know yourself better than we do. If you dont expirence those symptoms every month then it is very possible that you are pregnant. You seem to be displaying all the major signs of pregnancy but, again, if those are normal for you then dont get you hopes up.

Ok so when can you test. You can wait until you are supposed to start your priod (june 25th) or if you really want to know and you cant wait (I usually cant, im impatient) then depending on the brand of HPT is when you can test. There are some that say you can tell 5 days before your missed period in which case you could test this saturday.

Good luck!  : )

hun its hard to say..you get all thoes with pms too..the one that should really make you wonder is a missed period!! You can take a test as early as four days before your period comes...i tested two days before and got my poistive!!! So you can wait until then or even go to your doc and get him to do a bloodtest!! Its hard to tell yet espically where your trying..my besst advice is to stop trying..i did and got pregnant..lol...i tried for ten months before i stopped...best of luck to you! any more questions just ask!!
