Okay, so I had sex on the 13th of Dec and I was ovulating that week. My period was due on the 31st of Dec and I am now 3 days late.I took a pregnancy this morning, the 2nd, and it was negative. But I still haven't gotten my period. Is there any chance that I might be pregnant?

Stress, late ovulation, illness, or no reason at all. Just got to remember that the human body isn't perfect and from time to time does funky things. Good luck to you.

All right well I got my period yesterday! I'm not sure why it was late but I'm so glad I got it! Thanks so much for your comments/help!

Yeah I definitely agree! I never thought I would be one of those girls that had to worry about get pregnant at a young age. I'm in college and I work so I'm just thinking where can a baby fit in?! But I'm sure everything will work out the way God has planned it. I'll let you know the next time I test.

I'm glad you are going to hold off on having sex. I think it;s a GREAT idea. Focus on you ENJOY being young. You want to live your life before you start having ADULT responsibilities. In your case hopefully the next time you test it's negative. If it is positive, it's a blessing in disguise and you'll be just fine:-)

Oh no I know it doesn't, that's why I've never used it. I was a virgin before I met my ex bf so I wasnt interested in using birth control or anything. And we have always used condoms previous to this, although that's not 100% either. To be honest I'm not interested in having sex, I would really like to wait till marriage. But yeah I plan on testing again in a couple of days, thanks!

The withdrawal "method" doesn't actually prevent pregnancy. Also, charting your bbt is really one of the only ways to tell if you ovulated or not. There is a chance that you may be pregnant, hcg doubles in number so i'd wait a few days and then test again.

Yeah I'm sure you're right, im just so anxious! When I had sex we used the withdrawal "method", which I've never done! I'm only 18 so it just makes me nervous :\ thank you for the response!

Hi:-) There is a chance you could be pregnant. I think you tested kind of early. I would advise you to wait at least until your are 6 or more days late. Good luck!
