Ok, here we go...so I had a pretty ridiculous freshman year in college highlighted by a ton of stupid mistakes. But I ended up finding a really nice guy, and we had sex about 5 times. All but one time we used a condom (the time we didn't use a condom we used the pull-out method...STUPID!), but we did not always begin with a condom. So clearly what I'm concerned about is pre-ejaculate and the risks of becoming pregnant as a result therof. The time we did not use a condom, I noticed pre-ejaculate before he pentrated me and I wiped it off...but that was after we had already had sex a few times within a few days before that, and I realize there could have been pre-ejaculate present before he put a condom on.
Anyway, I excpect my period around the 25 of each month (+/- 3 days) and I started it, with cramps and everything, on May 22. However, I did notice that my period was moderate...for the most part, my period is fairly heavy with intense cramps, but sometimes I do get a break from the heavy periods. This time it was heavy enough to bleed through a super tampon on a day where I didn't have much time to change, and it lasted about four days. Overall, though, that period was somewhat lighter and shorter than usual and the cramps were not as severe.
Given these factors, how likely is it that I'm pregnant? Should I assume that since I've supposedly had my period that I'm out of the woods, or should I just get a test? The only other symptom I think I've noticed is that my breasts seem to be a little bigger than normal...but then again, I can't even tell for sure! I tend to stress about every little detail about my body and consider the worst possible scenario, so I'm guessing this might also be a factor.
I know that I've made some dumb decisions, and I just need to get on the pill to avoid all of this stress. And using a condom the whole time is also the right decision...so next time I have sex with this particular guy, I will use at least one option (if it's a different guy, I'll use both!).
Thanks
