I had a really short period last month...

Im 18, sexually active. Most times use contreceptive but have had times where we didnt use it. I have one sex partner and have no STDS and about a year ago i had the DEPO shot i didnt like it so i didnt continue the shots and i only got it once and even though it only last 3 months they said that it could take up to a year to return to fertility so i havent worried about becoming pregnant but it's been a year since the depo shot and i have had unprotected sex and when my period came it had Light flow for maybe 2 days and then really light off/on spotting. I was wondering if this could be spotting that happens when your pregnant or just a strange cycle? I have also felt weird pains and cramps in my lower abdominal area they arent too painful and they usually go away quickly.

You could be pregnant because it doesnt always take a yr to be fetile again. I know someone who got pregnant on the shot and someone else who got pregnant a month after stopping the shot so take a blood test...... But you can also be having a weird period because your body may not be regular because of the shot. Are you haveing any other preg symptoms? How many periods have you had like this since stopping the shot?

yes you could be pregnant, it doesnt always take a year to become fertile again, some people take way less than that. id wait 3 weeks after you last had unprotected sex and take a test, the bleeding could be implantation bleeding
