something wrong with my pregnancy?

Okay, so i had just gotten off birth control on August 16, 2009. My periods when i was on birth control was always on the 16th of every month, but before i got on the pill my periods were always messed up. (that is why i got put on the pill) So when i stopped taking the pill, i didn't start my Sept. period until the 26 of October. After that i missed November and December's period. I had taken 3 home pregnancy tests every week up untill two weeks ago. They all had said negative. not one positive has shown up. !!!!!!! so i paused on the tests for two weeks...

I had taken 5 this week, in the past two days.....And ALL of them were POSITIVE. I scheduled an appointment, but it's not for another two weeks. And untill then i need some info. is it possible to have the hcg hormone and not be pregnant? The only signs of pregnancy that i have noticed is just eating more and my breasts are a little tender. I've been urinating normally, and i figured that if i'm really 9 weeks along, then i would experience more symptoms and signs. ?? I'm really stressing, and i will be for the next two weeks. I'm 18 and in college. not married (but in a steady relationship though) and i just lost my job. What can i do untill i officially find out? Is it possible to have the hormone without being pregnant? could something be wrong with my body?
I also have cervical cancer...could that have any effect on my body this way?

First of all, after you stop taking birth control it will usually take your body 6 months to get on a schedule.  I agree your estimates of your last period are not a definitely pinpoint of your actually EDD (estimated due date).

Are you currently being treated for cervical cancer?  What stage?  I recently had a client who was dealing with stage 2 cervical cancer.  She was able to deliver vaginally without complications and was treated for the cancer after her daughter was born and is now cancer free.  Cervical cancer will NOT give you a false positive.

It is extremely rare to have HCG and not be pregnant.  Having this condition would likely need medical attention to ensure you are ok.  An ultra sound can rule this out.

As for symptoms, not everyone is the same.  There are many woman who carry on though pregnancy with nothing but weight gain.  Try to relax until you can get to a doctor.  You can go to a local health food store or pharmacy and pick up a prenatal vitamin and I strongly recommend it.

The best advice that I can give is that after you stopped the pill there is no telling when you O and your pregnacy could be less then 9 weeks, you may get an ultrsound soon since it will be hard to tell how far along you are.  If you are 9 weeks you should have gotten a BFP sooner, I am not sure if there is another reason for HCG but most HPT 25miui to be +. I hope all is well at you doc appt. and you hear everything you wish too.
I do not think there is anyhting wrong with your body and no cervical cancer will effect a HPT or HCG.  Sometimes it takes a while for a body to regulate after the pill.
