what will happen next?

My wife is pregnant.she is now 30 weeks and 20 days.but when she was seen a doctor he said here baby is in a transverse position (from right to left) .so that makes me very worried if she is going to give birt she might face a problem.
1.is there a probablity to come to the right position in the time left?
2.what are the possible problems happen while giving birth on here or here baby?

My friend just delivered her baby girl and from 33-38 weeks the baby was traverse. They opted to have them manually flip the baby. They ended up having to do it twice because she was being a stubborn little thing.

The day after doing it the second time she went into labor and they now have a perfectly healthy and beautiful baby girl.

There are different options so just talk to the ob and decide with your wife, what is best for her and the baby.

30 weeks and 20 days would place your wife at almost 33 weeks. If baby is traverse, the only thing that can be done is to either way and see if baby will flip themselves, or attempt to move the baby from the outside. However your doctor would need to explain the risk of that to you, and you two would have to decide if you want to go through with it. If baby doesn't flip, she will have to have a c-section, as she wouldn't be able to birth the child vaginally.
