why am i suddenly getting cramps during period?

I just started my period yesterday, but I have really bad cramps. I've never gotten cramps before. Could it be caused by taking too much Vitamin C? The last time I had my period I took a lot of Vitamin C too because I was being paranoid of being pregnant cause I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. When I had my period then, I cramped a little bit but it wasn't as painful as now. But I took less Vitamin C now then that time. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend again about 4-5 days before my period was due which is on the 8th. I had my period on the 10th and I'm cramping really badly now, the pain even goes down to my thighs and up to my stomach. Can I actually be pregnant? Or is this normal and due to hormonal imbalances? Because I've had hormonal balances before where I missed one month of my period before. This happened before I became sexually active. But can you actually start having cramps during your period even if you've never gotten them before?

well you're parents may go mental about you having sex but at least you'll be responsible about it and making sure your protected. if you guys run out of condoms so quickly when he or you do buy them instead of one box buy two. or once you notice your running low before you run out go buy some more. it is so much cheaper spending that $10-$20 on condoms then it is to have a baby. babies are really expensive.

but you NEED to see an ob. even if you're not pregnant. once you're sexually active you need to visit an ob at least once a year so you can have an exam done to make sure everythings working properly. if you don't want your mom to know you're having sex but still want on b/c tell her that your menstration is extremely heavy and your pms is really bad and you heard b/c pills can help regulate it. which it does. that's why i started on the pill when i was 16. i wasn't sexually active till i was almost 20.

yeah, i know i should not be having unprotected sex. but i can't get on b/c right now, my parents would go mental if they found out i was having sex before marriage... we do use condoms most of the time but we run out of them quickly.

are you having unprotected sex? or sex at all? if so you may want to go see an ob either way to talk about getting on b/c. and if you do get on b/c still use condoms. protect yourself from becoming pregnant and stds. i saw on the news the other day that 1 in 7 teenagers has some sort of an std or sti. so you definately want to keep protected against that.

lol clots are completely normal. that's just the lining of your uterus. and that means you're not pregnant.

i know when i used to get my period (before i got my mirena and before my pregnancy) i always had cramps. that's one of the normal things with a period so you shouldn't be to worried about it. the clots are also normal. that's just you passing the lining of your uterous. you should be worried about having unprotected sex though. even if he's pulling out there is a chance you could end up pregnant. a man has pre ejaculate all through sex. that pre ejaculate DOES contain sperm. not as much as when he actually does ejaculate but there is still sperm. even if you are on your period you still need to use protection.

(sorry i keep posting again and again, i dont know if theres an edit button here)

we also had unprotected sex three times that night. but i told him to wash his penis before he went in. he pulled out before he came and he said he was sure nothing went out. i'm still paranoid about the cramps though. my nurse said i could have clots?
