It was a crazy day here. Took homemade pumpkin, clay to plaster negative to plaster positive and hand painted, to school for son to do show and tell. Of course had all the candy bags made up. School party this afternoon, then had to run to town for milk and gasoline with a truck full. My dh, me, son, and nephew. Niece would have been there, too, but now she has pneumonia. Oh, picked up pizza for supper. Back home, ate hurridly, and started on son's vampire makeup. which of course took 2 tried. Also sprayed his hair black.
Trick or treating from 6:00-8:00 and home to wash gunk off of son. Took some doing, and it's not all gone yet. Kinda looks like a girl with all the eye makeup left.
It's been a long day, and I just wish my meds would kick in and my legs would knock it off so I can go to bed. Looks like it's gonna be midnight again. Will start all over in the morning at 6:15. Soon as bus is gone will make the long drive to Wal-Mart for meds and my day is shot.

PS--Forgot to mention that tomorrow starts the Christmas decorating normally to try and have it all ready to turn on Thanksgiving night. Looks like the North Pole exploded around here. But still have to finish my bathroom first. Hope I make it all done in time.
don't you mean...48 cup cakes to school in 48 pieces? LOL...hope all went well...we don't get many children either....fewer and fewer each year....I still have candy in a bowl by the door....hubby is always happy to "take care of any left overs" :) I don't eat much candy...I always make sure I buy some kind HE likes...everyone have fun now! boooooooooooo!
I've run to school twice already today - each of children had their costume parade & party at a different time. Once more to pick them up and once hubby gets home we'll trick or treat while it's light out and then back home to hand out candy. I'm hoping there's not much left for me to snack on :-)
Waiting for the trick or treaters ,though with parties taking the place of treating there are fewer each year. Guess that means I'll have plenty of candy left over for those big kids who have the lousy make-shift costumes and show up at your door after 9 LOLOLOL
First year for me all 4 are out with friends and I am home getting ready to feed them pizza (all of them and their friends) @ 7:30 PM sharp!
Wish me luck!~

Venora, Happy Samhain! ;)
We won't be doing anything "fun". We don't get trick or treaters - too far out in the boonies. And hubby's working tonight. Will probably just put a plate of food out on the front porch for the spirits and that's about it.
Happy Halloween from you witchy friend Venora

Letting my daughter have her BF over to watch "Fever Pitch" (still in World Series mode: Yeah Red Sox!!!) and pass out candy. Also made apple crisp for my office "kids!" (grown male stockbrokers) I did, however, forget to decorate the house for Halloween, so I hope kids are mostly interested in the candy, otherwise could be big clean-up in the morning! :-)
