"Hetrogeneous hypervascular gland" means there is excessive blood flow in it, which is common in patientys with Grave's; 'hetrogeneous' means the tissue is not uniform ; in plain terms can be said it is coarse-grained rather then fine grained.
RAI uptake study and antibody testing is recommended to to differentiate between thyroiditis and Grave's [even if hormone blood levels are normal]
