Adrenal Gland

I am losing weight even though I was told I had an underactive thyroid, I have advanced osteoporosis, could my adrenal glands be the culprit?

I am having the same thing happen to me with the weight, even though i am considered hypo. I am still going through tests at the moment. I had a TT back in 1994. I have also been asked about osteoporosis in my family. We don' t have a history of it. Mine severe symptoms started in Jan 08. Severe muscles aches. I weighed 124 back on Jan 10, now i am down to 101 and my eating habits are the same. I have lost inches in the hips and thighs mostly, lets just say i was wearing a size 8 in jeans now i should be wearing a 4 or smaller. The thing that really scares me is the shrinking of the hips and thighs. I do have an appt. this Friday to see what if anything they find. I am 5'2 and have always weighed between 115-120; never over or under. My thyroid levels have always been fine according to previous blood work, I don't know what the results were back then. I am currently on 125mcg of Levothroid.

Just curious but have you been having what feels like panic attacks and feel overwhelmed with stress?
