? Normal TSH, Free T4 , Low Total T3

Hi.  I have been dealing with awful hypo symptoms for years.  I began treatment with Armour Thyroid a few years back due to a TSH of close to 3 (still normal) and severe hypo symptoms.  My doctor said that even though the results were within range, sometimes treating will help when the TSH is above 2.5.  The Armour reduced some problems, but weight gain, fatigue, joint pain, rash etc  were still there.  I also get bloodshot eyes that burn. I have a mildly positive Rheumatoid Factor (26).  When the Armour shortage happened, I had to switch to Levothyroxine.  I take 100 mcg/day to replace the 60mg of Armour.  Since the switch in Dec. 09, I have gained nearly 30 lbs. and my heart is racing, fingers, face and abdomen swelling, anxious, losing hair, fatigued and no energy.  I feel like I am dying. My Dr. ran more thyroid tests this week which came back as follows:

TSH- 0.85   Range-0.35-4.94 UIU/ML
Free T4- 1.37   Range-0.8-1.8 NG/DL
Total T3- 71 (L)   Range-97-219 NG/DL

She was confused by the results and told me that I need to see an Endo to figure out what is going on.  I am really freaked out by my symptoms and I am wondering if anyone out there has any knowledge of what may be going on.  Thank you!

It may look like you having problems of T4 to T3 conversion; that should be investigated
