I am anxiously awaiting the return of school for my 4 kids.  Am I a bad Mom? LOL.  Ages 17,15,10 & 9 .... it's been a very tricky summer entertaining all 4 and keeping them *all* happy and needless to say, money flying out the door every time they want to do something ..... !

I'm still feeling poorly but trying to get the most out of the last 8 days of my summer internship--which means crossing my fingers that I deliver a chemical compound I'm making in time before I leave (it's an anti-cancer drug--maybe one day it'll be used to fight thyroid cancer!).

What's good is that Michael Phelps secured his 11th gold medal at the Olympics last night--yaaay! Is anyone else watching these? I couldn't believe our women's gymnastics team lost the gold........................

happy that i was released from the hospital.
my calcium finally stabilized without the iv drip.
of course i'm on 8 calcium pills and 8 calcitrol pills a day, but things are supposedly looking up!

I am ready for my 12yr old daughter to go back to school....she has been bored all summer with mom not feeling well. On the down side....we have to start getting up early again! yuck!

Hi Cheryl,
I was looking for the "Monday" post. It must be on page 3 or 4 by now.
Anyhoo, went to Endo yesterday, for my 1st checkup since starting on thyroid meds.
My TSH stayed the same 0.6 , It was this # back in Jan (before my PT) and in May (after PT) .  Also had Free T4 checked, it is 1.3 .
I am very happy that both are in range.  My thyroid function is NORMAL.!!! Yippee!!!
I don't have to go back until Dec.
So, in answer to the Wednesday question, I'm in a good mood and very happy today.

Well.. I am actually doing well these days! The bad... MOVING INTO A NEW HOUSE WITH 2 CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 3 WHILE MY HUBBY IS AWAY ON A WORK TRIP!! The good... FLO is approaching and my symptoms arent as bad as they were last month.. Looking at this as possibly leveling out??

If anxiously awaiting school to start makes you a bad mom then I'm right there at the top of the "bad mom" list.  My kids are 17 and 15 and I have a countdown on my fridge marking off the days!  They are just plain making me nuts.  The vampire schedule is killing me, the waking up at noon, lunch at 4 and dinner at 11pm.  Nobody is eating right, nobody is getting enough sleep, I've had it!  And trying to get college apps filled out with the oldest (she's gonna be a senior) is like pulling teeth. Is writing as essay sooo hard????  Well it is if tanning is your first priority!  HELP ME!!!!!

On another note.......I feel absolutely great. Finally.

I am exhausted. Been up and down all night long.

The cortisol is running high, which makes me feel very agitated. I HATE that feeling!

I guess I need to stop looking at that, and focus on the good in my life.
