nodules

Hi    every     one,
my wife recently went to a hospital for general check up , they did ultrasonic test on the neck  and this was the report , the specialist said this is small and  we will do the US later to make sure that the size  does not increase

is this serious and what should we do

NO DEEP CERVICAL ADENOPATHY

no she was having only soreness in the throut caused by the GERD

Your wife's lab results are excellent.  Her FT3 and FT4 are right where they should be.

Cysts or nodules less than 1 cm are usually just monitored for changes.  Biopsy isn't recommened unless they are 1 cm or more.  As your specialist indicated, you can do another U/S later to follow up.  

It looks to me like your wife's thyroid got a clean bill of health and you have nothing to worry about with regard to thyroid.

Does she have symptoms that led to the thyroid testing?
