LOST MYELF,MY UNIQUENESS

I feel that i am not my real self.I have lost my individuality. And all this happened after the onset of hypothyroidism
I feel that i am a total different being.
I cannot feel the air around me the same as earlier.
I cannot enjoy the nature which i loved so much.
I cannot relish reading books which i once did with passion.
I cannot feel the warmth and love of relationship.
Despite of every loved ones around me i feel lonely.
I have become very emotional.I have lost my sense of humour.
i simply cannot enjoy anything,i feel life is so boring.
Why this all cannotsssssssss and unlivelinesssss.Do i feel this alone or i have some partners???
i have to dawn in the false smiling mask for the world to show them that i am happy, which i am not .
Where have gone my good old-days...

I have been diagnosed with hyper but I know how you feel. Just yesterday I cryed almost all do for nothing and everything. It's a battle and struggle but you can fight. Don't let this change the person that you are. It is not you feeling like this it is the disease. Don't let it consume you. I have to remind myself constantly but it is very difficult. Hang in there.

Hi, I am new to thyroid disease also, and have found this year such a terrible struggle, and as you say, sometimes its hard to to feel like your old self. It's as if somethings changed and it's hard to get it back. But you do have good days and bad, and have to just hold on and wait for it to stay better for longer periods. And I also just wanted to say, please keep coming back to this forum, the people here are fantastic, it is them that keep me going in bad times. It's good you've find us, so stay with us. Good luck!

Are you on meds?  If so, it should return but this is something not fun and not something anybody wants to endure.

Hypothyroidism chemically changes the brains way of feeling. Many ( most) feel their lives are changed after this disease hits.

You need to adapt and well has find a situation with meds that give you back some of your pleasures.

It's a struggle - but there is a reason.

First - you need to take care of YOU - then more of the pleasures you once loved come back.
