went for foll- up today at endo. she says to stay at current dose. 200  (100 2x daily) but wants a blood  re-check in 8 weeks she says I'm at the limit, almost hyper. lost 7 pounds in 6 months. and she wants to monitor it,// if i lose more weight she wants to lower dose.// cardiologist wants me to lose 10 pounds which im going to try and do ( had a full checkup, ekg, ultrasound last week//all is good) , so we'll retest in 8 weeks and see what happens.  I'm OK with that,  seems reasonable . plus feeling OK except for stomach ache. ?/it's  always something! I'm hoping that you can get to this link.

If not, here is the quote from it that I thought of for you.  It relates to taking meds like armour.  "Since they provide more T3 than the thyroid gland produces, the well-replaced patient’s free T4 will be around the middle of its range or lower, and the FT3 will be high-“normal” or slightly high before the AM dose.

Do you expect any problems with your doctor, based on the FT3 level?  If so, you should make it clear that you took the med before the test.  That might help relieve any concern on his part.

That may explain the FT3 level.  Did you take the entire dose at that time?

Forgot to mention -- any thought of supplementing to bring up the vitamin D level a bit, since you're pretty close to the bottom on that?

I've never gotten my FT3 above 3.7 (same range as yours), but my latest FT4 was same as yours (identical range); I feel pretty good, but wish I could get FT3 up just a bit more, though maybe not quite as high as yours, but I'm SO jealous!!

How will the doctors look at it?? Depends on the doctor -- my pcp would panic, pronounce me hyper as  heck and take away all med, while my endo would shrug and ask how I feel......

Hope you keep feeling well.

I'm going to take a stab at this and think that you feel pretty DARN RIGHT good right now - don't you :)

I hope I'm right.

For me KL... those would be my perfect numbers.. maybe a tad lower on the TSH - but right in there for sure.
