A big hug for those affected by the floods in USA

I hope that all those people who are affected by the floods in the US are able to find a nice dry bed and food in their tummies! I feel for those who need medications and may not be able to get them quickly. If they need any hugs I have plenty to go around!

In Iowa, something like 86 of the 99 counties are deemed disaster areas. A lot of people have been flooded out. A LOT of the crops have been lost for the year.

I personally have kept dry, but half the town has flooded basements, and we are one of the lucky counties. It is mainly the farmers here that are getting hammered.

Some towns have no drinking water. Some towns have no town left.
It is bad, and Iowa is not the only state suffering.

Thanks for the kind thoughts. A lot of people are suffering.

Thanks for the nice post - I had "lake" property for a while in my back yard - but l was lucky this time and did not have a river in my basement like many.

My city has been classified as a disaster and the government is stepping in.
