This is a very old thread and rohit_786 has not been active on the forum for years, so I doubt you'll get a response.
In regards to the generic vs brand name; while each manufacturer uses different fillers/binders, the levothyroxine is the same in each and each manufacturer has to maintain the same standards as the brand name manufacturers do. In fact there have been more recalls of synthroid, than of the generics.
Many of us do well on generic thyroid meds. I actually did better on generic than I did on synthroid.
When I found out I had thyroid trouble in early 2004, I took generic T4 pills because my doctor had told me that there was no difference between brand name pills and generic pills, other than the higher price for brand name pills. However, my blood test scores bounced up and down like mountains and valleys. Then I read that we can't take generics because they're all made according to different recipes. Well, that explained the peaks and valleys in my blood tests. At that point I switched to brand name pills that are manufactured by the same company and, after six years of going up and down in my test scores, my hypothyroidism finally was stabilized.
Geez - I am in the 2 year slot too after I got relief.
But I had other issues too. Deficient in magnesium - adrenal disorders etc.
I do know the longer being hypo and not stable the longer it takes to go away - AND I hate to say - but THAT symptom was the last one to leave my body after getting euthyroid.
Well i still have muscles /joint pain even though i am in treatment for last 2 years, may be because my TSH level is keep bouncing up and down..I have muscles and joint pain all over the body and also had numbness in my hands and feet which kind of resolve but some time still have it.
Do you also notice muscles weakness ?. I do notice if i do some physical work my muscles kind of hurt lot which tend to believe some muscles weakness.
Do you have headches also ?
