Anti Thyroglobulin level

Is there someone who can help me to understand my results as I just seem to go round in circles here - tests are done but I do not seem to find someone who explains to me what the results actually mean.

My Antithyroglobulin is 87.0 reference range <4.1
Anit thryoid Peroxidase is 0.7 range 0 - 11.0
Neturophils 2.24 range 2.00-7.50
Lymphocytes 1.54 ref range 1.50-4.00

TSH - 4th Generation 1.1265 m/u/L  ref range 0.350 - 4.940  is this OK?
Free T4 17.6 range 9.0 - 19.1  is this too high or OK - I seem to feel better at this level
Free T 3  3.71 - ref range 2.63 - 5.70 is this on the low side?

Cholesterol Total 6.15 range upto 5.20 told this is too  high
Cholesterol HDL 2.63 range 1.17 - 2.50 told this is tooo high

Thanks for any help

I'm afraid I don't know anything about online doctors, but I would be cautious.

Cytomel is not sold without a prescription.  However, if you can find someone locally to prescribe it, I would be surprised if you couldn't ORDER it online???

Thanks soooo much - this is sooo helpful and will try and find T3 - the problem is that it is not available in Asia as in the USA.  I am trying to see if I can find an online dr who will be able to make use of my results and treat me online - found someone who charges 197 USD as he claims that he studies all your results and the documents he sends to you and based on all the gathered information he informs you what the best options for you are.  Is this a good way to go - all of you in the USA are so fortunate since you are soooo advanced in this respect.

I am also researching to see if T3 can be purchased via an  online pharmacy but am not sure if it will be sold without a perscription.

Many thanks

Your TGab, at 87, indicates autoimmune disease - Hashimoto's thyroiditis.  You have been hypo for so long that your thyroid is more than liely completely destroyed at this point, and you are on 100% replacement hormones.

Your FT4 is high, but since you still have some hypo symptoms, I wouldn't let that concern me too much.  On the other hand, your FT3 is quite low, and I think that's what is causing your hypo symptoms.  TSH is okay, but would probably go down a bit if your FT3 were higher.

Have you asked your doctor about adding some T3 meds (Cytomel)?  I think you'd feel much better with higher FT3.  Remember that when you add T3, you need to decrease L-thyroxine at the same time.  I'd ask him about dropping the L-thyroxine to 75 on even days and 50 on odd days and adding 5 mcg T3 (T3 is about four times more powerful than T4).  If you still have symptoms after four or five weeks on that, you can look at labs again and either just increase T3 meds to 10 mcg or drop L-thyroxine further (if FT4 is still high) in addition to the added T3.

Yes been hypo thyroid since 16 now 57.  Symptoms I have currently is itchy or scratch feeling eyes, muscle spasms early in the morning.  Ankle weekness, edema and swelling of lower legs, feet and ankles, puffy eyes, cold hands and feet, body aches especially with a pain on the right side of my neck/shoulders and my knees.  Use L Thryoxin 100mcg on all even days of the month and 75 mcg on Odd days.  Flu like symptoms and chest infections nearly every month.  I avoid all wheat, gluten, soya, peanuts, sugar and eat mainly organic foods and limit fruit intake, have 6 to 7 glasses of water, 3 cups of organic coffee no milk and was told to drink warm water upon rising with Applecider to flush my liver and lymphatic system and do the same during the day.  Evening I take a Vitamin D/Calclium combination, Organic Salmon Oil three times a day, 3 MSM tablets and two Glutethyon thablets per day.

Thanks sooo much
