Hello friend, sorry to read you are going through discomfort with treatment. If you physician is not cooperating with you, nor listening to you, I suggest seeking a physician that can help you restore your health. Most physicians are set in thier way's.
Sorry to be bearer of bad news, but 60lbs weight gain can contribute to fatigue. How do I know? I lost 70-80lbs since last year. My fatigue improved tremendously as I dropped the weight, I wasn't out running marathons, but felt more productive then before the weight.
Only now I'm dealing with hormonal balance fatigue after TT,. I went on a low carb diet, eliminate all sugar from my diet, for over 6 months I didn't consume any sugar, no diet drinks, no sweetners, I avoid anything that taste sweet. I stayed on a meat/veggie diet, drinking water, 10-15 minute treadmill workout, sometimes 30, whenever possible, worked like a charm.
Hormonal disorder can cause weight gain, but I'm convinced now sugar is the main reason society is over weight. Try low carb diet, eliminate sugar, 10-15 minute daily workouts, if your interested to see if this will help you. Wishing you well on your journey.
Since many hypo patients are also deficient in other areas that can cause symptoms as well, you should also ask to be tested for Vitamin A, D, B12, ferritin, and a full iron test panel.
When test results are available, please get a copy of the lab report and post test results and reference ranges shown on the report and members will be glad to help interpret and advise further. Also be aware that test results that fall in the lower end of the ranges for many of these tests are inadequate, even though they are within the so-called "normal" ranges. .
