Anyone have trouble taking antibiotics

I had a urinalysis done the first week of May.  My internist called me Wed.and asked if I had any pain or burning.  I did not. She said that I prob had UTI and prescribed Augmentin for 10 Days. I received the lab report Thurs. and was concerned about results. I called my dr and she was quite angry with me. She said I talked to you about this yesterday ,now just take your antibiotics. I felt that she did not answer any question I had. My questions were I feel the antibiotic makes my heart race and could it make my thyroid feel painful? I feel a throbbing pain at times around my thyroid. I took 7 doses of the Augmentin but it is really making me feel terrible. Has anyone experienced this?

I haven't experienced that myself, but I have to say that I hope you plan to see another doctor! Is this doctor aware of your thyroid condition?

My internist is the dr who diagnosed my throid condition. I was so surprised that she was so short with me and refused to answer any of my questions.  I have appointment next week and hope she is more helpful or I will be looking for a new doc.  Luckily I have an endo who is wonderful and will take your call always.
