I understand that since I had an ablation for Graves disease that I will always be hypothyroid. The specialist put me on 150 synthroid. It was to much and within 3 days I could not sleep. She reduced my medication to 112 after testing and now I have a twitching in my chin and felt a little nervous today. Could this be because she dropped me to low. Now I have a twitching in my chin that I have never had before. From my experience I felt that 125 would probably be the right dosage and I deal with low potassium and magnesium and take supplements. I do not want to go through losing hair again but she said there would be no reason to recheck me for 6 weeks with the change of medication. I started sleeping in about 4 days after the change even though she said it would take 3 weeks. I was on Armour and they said the T-3 is just to strong and hard on the heart and you feel a bounce of energy and then lose it in a few hours. I never experienced feeling a bounce of energy. ***@****
