Armour being discontinued

My pharmacist told me that she had heard Armour was going to stop being made sometime during 2013. I could not find anything on the Armour website. Is there an alternative brand that is essentially the same thing that anyone can recommend to me? (Preferably something without food dye in the pill)

NP thyroid by Acella  you can get it at Target.  been good for me and its cheep !!

I would not put much stock in that rumor. However, if you are concerned, you might want to look at Westhroid-P. It's a new formulation of Westhroid (which is the same as Naturethroid) but with only two ingredients other than the thyroid hormones: inulin from chicory root and Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) from coconuts.

I read something similar on another thyroid board.  But one person called a sales rep at Armour and they posted back that it wasn't true.  

So who knows, right!

I personally don't have any experience with other NDT's but from memory of their posts some are on Naturethroid and Thyroid Gold. I am sure there are others......
