Thanks Barb,
That is way we went and she seems to have not have had any bad effects from changing. She switched over with a 18hr time gap rather than a 30hr gap.

Your girlfriend will sleep/wake according to local (Asian) time, therefore, she should take her med according to her sleep/wake cycle, just as she would do at home...
If it were me I would split the dose in order to even out the effect over the whole day. If she did that then she could take her early dose right before lunch and again before dinner. That way the time would be almost the same as normal.
Hi Gimel,
Thank you for your reply, I realise I made a big mistake over the actual dosage. Sorry for being a dope.
She takes a combined T3-T4 pill (100mgs T4, 20mgs T3) once daily.
She was advised to take them on an empty stomach so first thing in the morning.
So how does she change her dose time back to the morning?
Thanks again
Tim
An unusual question. In thinking about it, the first thought was why should she wait 12 hours between doses. It would be far better to take her morning dose upon arising and then her second dose about 6 hours later. I say this because of the T3 in her meds. T3 has a half life of about 3-4 hours, so many people find it best to split the dose to even out the effect over the day. A 12 hour delay does not compute, since that gets too close to bedtime and often interferes with sleep. If she switched to say a 5 or 6 hour interval then she would be taking her med at say midday and early evening, local time in Asia, rather than middle of the night.
