Blood work

I had two TSH complete a month apart.  The first one read 1.5 and the second one read 22.  I am currently on Synthroid 112.  I have a tiny nodule on the left thyroid.  It is smaller then 1 cm.  What could be changing my TSH number in such a short time.  Also I noticed a bald spot on my head and I am tired all the time.  I get dizzy when I bend over or change position while I am trying to sleep.

I can only speak from the experience with my thyroid; the diagnosis was an autoimmune disease; my immune system turned on itself and recognized my thyroid as something foreign; they told me I had Hashimotos thyroiditis.
My spelling might be incorrect;just go into the computer, and it will give you the correct spelling. My nodule started small, over a period of time it grew to the size of a small egg, even though I was taking Synthroid.
Your endocrinologist can test you for this disorder just to rule it out
Hope this helps in some way

It sounds as if you might need an increase in your med dosage.  Is TSH the only test that's being done?  TSH is a pituitary hormone and not a good indicator of actual thyroid status. You need to also be tested for the actual thyroid hormones, Free T3 and Free T4.

If your doctor isn't testing those, you should try to find a doctor who will.
