I will be goin for another surgery in two weeks time. Doctor says must remove the cyst, the branchial cyst. It is near the jugular and carotid vein.According to him whether if it is a high risk op or not, he must go ahea and remove it. I am afraid. After my total thyroidectomy i did go to work for 4 months cause i lost my voice/ my vocal cord was temporarily paralysed. Now it is getting better. And one more thing is that i am seeing my endocrine doc. Wud it be better if my ENT speialist perform this surgery so that he can take care of my vocal cords as well Please advise, I am afraid of losing my voice.
