Just got back from Surgeon's office

So I saw my surgeon today. Not usual after 3 weeks post op, but he didnt take my stitches out so he wanted to see how I was healing. I must say... I love this man!! Just so compassionate and very caring man.

Anywho.. he looked at the incision and said it looks great. He said that it might be reddish in color for about 6 months. He said he felt no lumps or bumps as some of us have felt after our surgeries.

I gotta say.. I'll miss him. I really have no other reason to see him now that surgery is behind me!! Crazy, you finally get a Dr you really like and then the relationship is over! :(

I told him that I would miss him and that it was hard, truly hard finding a Dr that you can trust and truly like... he hugged me and said I made his day!

No lumps or bumps, that's a good thing, so I'm was told.  I guess it somewhat indicates there's no tissue left.  But then again you never know with this stuff.

Having a great surgeon is a good thing, I know.  Buit it's nice to move on too since it means health.

Just remember:  The bigger the hair, the closer to God.

Or is it - 'remember?'

It's a love hate relationship. You love em and then you hate to lose them.

By the way - I'm lov'n your new pic - it must be from the 80's - I got the same photo with my husband only he's wearing Elton John glasses.

I still like the big hair thing though. :)

Having a great surgeon that you're comfortable with is half the battle and you found yourself a winner. I'm so happy for you that everything is moving along smoothly.
