I beg to differ on that one.
Most feel good with a TSH of 1.0 - 2.0.
Personally my 'good ' level is 2.3......any higher or lower than that and I get bad anxiety and ache.
I am currently on 62.5 three times a week and 50mcg four times a week and been on this dosage for sometime after having RAI last June.
I feel good and have returned back to fulltime work.
Everyones dosage is different and if you dont feel good and feel the need for an increase, then by all means, see your Doctor.
I was on 75mcg daily at one stage and went hyper.
Everyones body is also different too in how fast it converts the T4 med to T3.
And also just how fast your metabolism is towards a T4 med.
Do you know your FT3 & FT4 levels?
Good luck with your Doctor Ruth.
If your TSH is 2.60, then it's in the normal range. No medication required.
