Confused About Thyroid Please help

I am 22 years old, and facing some of the symtoms of thyroid though i do not know much about the topic.
I gained sudden weight about 10 lbs in past 2 months with a normal regular diet. my body swells like a giant everyday. i have constipation problems also. i suffer from back pain.i feel weak and tired in the morning.and always.however my menstrual cycle is regular.but i have depression problem.

My mom had many thyroid symtoms but doctors could never conclude she had thyroid. My mother's sister has thyroid.

I am finding it hard to lose weight my height is 5 ft and my weight is about 130 lbs or so i dont know how it increased from 120 to 130 i am shocked as 3 months ago i was advised by the doctor to lose weight as im short and would have problems in conceiving. I am not married now and looking foward to it only after 2 years so i want to solve these issues before that please advice, i am goin for a medical checkup this weekend. But do let me know is it thyroid??? or just regular laziness???? i use to be healthy and very fit some 2 years ago when i was just 108 lbs. but i got jaundice and since then life is hell.

Yes it could be related to your thyroid as it often involves problems with fertility and menstruation and weight etc. But you really need all those blood tests estrelinha listed in her reply to be sure.

Could be thyroid related (hypo), ask your doctor for TSH, free T3 and free T4 (blood tests)
