Could I have too much synthroid if TSH normal?

I have taken 50mcg of synthroid for 11 years in the morning, about 1 hour before breakfast and taking my calcium and aspirin.  About 4 weeks ago, a pharmacist told me I should take my synthroid 4 hours apart from my calcium and aspirin.  So I started taking my synthroid about 2 1/2 hours before breakfast and 5-6 hours before calcium and aspirin.  In the last week or so, my heart has been racing, I have become very nervous and anxious, my body will trembel, I have nights I can't sleep, and I am sometimes nauseous with headaches.  I have stopped my synthroid completely.  However, my doctor said my TSH levels are normal.  I have had 4 pharmacists tell me that my body definitely absorbed more synthroid because of the way I changed taking it.  If the synthroid is causing these symtpoms, how long until they go away?  (Prior to making the change 4 weeks ago, I had no problems with my synthroid)

Hi,

why don't you go back to your original way of taking the synthyroid, after all it was working for you.

Absorption can be affected depending how you take the meds. even a small change could affect the available meds levels.   The key is to be consistent.
