I'm wondering if it's possible I could be experiencing Angioedema. Several times in the past and just over a week ago, I've had a weird thing happen. Twice it's sent me to the emergency room where they just monitored me and gave me GI cocktails. It starts as stomach pain, upper and lower, then all the sudden, a warmth spreads up my chest, into my throat, neck and head. I have diarrhea and vomitting, but, the weirdest thing is that I feel like my esophagus is throbbing all the way up to my tonsils. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's when I was 16 and have been on Synthroid since then, going back and forth between mgs. from 75 to 88 and am now 55 years old, so I've been taking it almost all my life. I feel horrible most of the time and, since my last weird attack, I've been feeling a tingling in my throat and the glands under my ears feel full and I'm weak all over and dizzy and feel short of breath. My ear has been making clicking sounds. I'm a mess and I think my doctor already thinks I'm mental and he keeps giving me decongestants, which aren't helping.
