Dizziness, Nausea, pain

I was diagnosed with hypothroidism with 3 noduals.in September 2008. Dr. prescribed me Synthroid 125 mcmg. Made me feel real crazy, anxiety, jumpy, heart paplitations as I did before the diagnosis. Went to another physician and he tested my levels and placed me on a lower dosage of Synthroid of 112 and ordered a ultrasound. Dr. Sent the ultrasound to an Endo. appointment is scheduled in February 11, 2008. Have pains behind my left breast bone from time to time dizziness, nausea, forgetfulness  and still gaining weight. Sometimes I feel pain in my neck where the thyroid is located. Have ben to the hospital for numbness and pain in my arms and legs, chest pains they can't seem to find a thing. Have anyone ever had these symptoms. I feel the medication is not doing as it should. Called the Dr. office and his nurse states that there is nothing more he can do, I have to wait to see the endo.  Can anyone give me any ideas. I see my Physician on the morning, and I hate to keeep telling him the same thing but I feel like ****

I have been having the same issue as Georgia with my potassium.  My potassium level is low as of 11-08and I am going through the same symptoms.  I went so far as to get delirious and not know where i was.  Scared my son half to death. The only different symptoms is cramping.  I cramp up so bad that at times it takes another person to pull my fingers apart.

mschinadoll- all the problem listed in your posted, I had when i was in hyperhe//.  I shook so bad till I thought I was a drinker.  I have learned this thyroid thing is hard to figure out.  If things get too too bad, go to the hospital.  The chest pains are nothing to try and detect on your own.

Keep us posted

Terri

Hi,
Has any of the Dr.'s checked your potassium? Before I found out that I had 5 noduals and 2 having cancer cells as well as hypothyroidisum i was crashin all the time like that only to find out that my potassium was at a level that was almost at cardiac arrest level. a good level is 4.0-5 where the dr likes to keep it to but mine likes to run 3.3 - 2.8 cardiac arrest is 2.6 - 2.5 I was put on liquid potassium for 3 months to get it back up, as my t-waves were off causing me to have heart papulations, dizziness, and anxiety but thats me, its just a suggestion as i am not on any meds yet for my thyroid. on Dec 4th i did the RAI treatment so i am new here to the network of thyroid of uncertainties that lie ahead of me. I just saw your message and thought you may want them to check you potassium. I wish u the best of luck
