Does anyone else have issues with hiccups?

I was wondering if anyone else with hashimoto's and gerd also get hiccups...that just come and go....nothing major, just annoying???

898- I do have a hiatal hernial as well, was not aware it played a role here.


skeeterknitwit- my hiccups happen randomly thruout the day.....


bncrump- I am not on insulin......I do have a thyroid issue that is not medicated and thought the hiccups might be related to that.

Thanks all for the responce....I was begging to doubt myself on this.

Do you have trouble with your insulin levels? My husband got really bad hiccups all the time when his insulin levels were out of whack.

Oh, that's just weird.  I'm hyper.  Methimizole stopped my 2 am hiccups.  So I guess it's not just a hypo thing.  I was just telling a friend about it.  If I had gone to the Dr. complaining of 2am hiccups, the diagnosis would surely be hypochondriac!

Hiatal Hernia and GERD are most likely accompanied with hiccups
