no libido

I'm a 22yr old woman and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism several years ago. I have been taking medicine (150 micrograms of thyroxin every day). My TSH level is now normal.
ok now to my pathetic problem - i'm a virgin and i've never experienced ANY libido. i know it sounds ridiculous, but i really have never been turned on. i still feel like an 8 yr old who thinks sex is disgusting! what is the problem with me?! Does this have anything to do with my hypothyroidism? I also have unusual vaginal discharge.
Taking thyroxine made no difference in my life. Also, I have also been struggling with my weight since I was 12 I think. Now I weigh 150 lbs, and tried everything to lose weight but nothing seems to work. Plz help me!!!

thanks for your comments!
graveslady, so do you mean you never even felt horny before your thirties? and did that situation magically change when you reached your thirties?

Maybe you are a late bloomer -  see what your thirties brings. That is when I bloomed and I'm still blooming.

There is no magic  to weight issues, even for people with no thyroid condition. We are a food loving society, mostly fast foods.

The best we can do is exercise,  find a few diets that best fits us, ones with a maintenance program, because this will probably be a lifetime situation, and alternate between them.

"Eat to live, not live to eat".

Good luck!

It could be related to your thyroid since thyroid and estrogen affect each other.  I'd find a really good OB/GYN and discuss all of this with him/her.  You may have other hormonal issues going on.
