Effect of Exercise

Hello - Was diagnosed with Graves.  Had RAI treatment.  Went way hypo with TSH over 100 in November.  TSH is still in the 20's.  My question is regarding exercise.  Since I am so underactive, can exercise benefit in any way?  Is my body capable of  losing weight when so very underactive?  On days that I do exercise, I am extremely fatigued.  I am concerned that the exercise is causing more harm than good.  I am losing hair by the handfuls so am wondering if my body is already in 'crisis' mode and the exercise is just too much.  Was curious if stopping exercise would help with the hair loss.  Thank you so much for your help.

You should slow down until your TSH gets closer to 1.0.

You have many months of healing to do. You should talk to your doctor about exercise, and find out why your TSH is still so high.
