Experiences Synthroid/Cytomel combo? Adrenals balanced/a factor?

I have Hashimotos thyroiditis. I had a tough time with Armour after years of Levo and got a good link reference from Gimmel several weeks ago that pointed me to unresolved adrenal issues that seem relevant and I'm still following up on.  I still need to get a saliva test to determine what's happening with my cortisol cycling--and to work to address it.  In the meantime, given my constant dizziness on Armour yet still testing very hypo, in consultation with my endo I switched to Synthroid and Cytomel as a combination as I still wanted t4 and t3 supplementation, and put aside trying another one like Naturethroid for a later period, attempting to get stabilization of symptoms for now. The endo is still willing to work with me on something like Naturethroid eventually.
I am presently on the Synthroid with Cytomel for a few weeks- I continue to have sweats, stomach upsets, feel fatigued to the point of needing to lie down and rest or sleep. The first day on Cytomel I needed a lot of sleep-then I was fine, then had another day like that yesterday.  I am due to be tested again on the Synthroid Cytomel combo and have an upcoming appmt with the endo. Given my symptoms I may test early. There maybe an adjustment of these two for now through my endo if that is even a workable strategy.

I am hoping that I can tolerate these synthetics at least temporarily without attempting a third change in only a couple months. I'm again interested in others' experience to help me weigh factors.  I'm aware that additives in any med, such as corn starch can be a factor. Has anyone experienced these symptoms using Synthroid with Cytomel--and/or re Cytomel?  Are your adrenals balanced?  There seems to be some difficulty testing Free T3 on cytomel also at certain ranges  Can someone comment on/point to info on that too?. How have people done on Naturethroid/transitioning to Naturethroid.

Any/all info most appreciated.

Please post some test results and reference ranges representative of when you were taking Levo, and then Armour.  Without looking back to your prior info, have you tested for Vitamin D, B12 and ferritin?  If so, please post those as well.

The only difficulty in testing T3 from any source is that it reaches peak effect on serum levels in 3-4 hours, so to avoid false high results, it is best to defer the morning dose of T3 until after the blood draw for tests.

Thanks for your response Gimel.  I will need to fill in most of this starting tomorrow. To start, I did do testing today around 5 pm & results should be avail to me from lab likely tomorrow- Free T3, Free T4, TSH as prescribed by endo.  I tested earlier than scheduled as discussed with her if I became symptomatic when we switched to Synthroid w/Cytomel..   I am no longer transitioning from Levo to Armour.  I discontinued Armour after the previous issues, when you provided info about re adrenals.  Am now on Synthroid 75mcg 1x day and Liothyronine SOD (Cytomel) 5 mcg 2x a day. Did not receive timing of Cytomel fr endo beyond 2x day. Pharmacist recommended 12 hrs apart so am taking 8:30 am and 8:30pm.
I also will look up other test results when taking Levo and Armour, as well.
