I go tomorrow for my first biopsy.  I am scared.  I do not like the idea of a needle being put into my neck.

it went ok.  the dr. stuck me four times.  the second time hurt the worse.  i hope they do not have to do it again.  they drained the cyst all the way.  i should have the results in 5-7 days.  the fluid was clear, but i am not sure if that is a good thing or not.

I had one a few months ago, honestly the pain was not bad at all, I think that the discomfort afterwards lasted a few days, but it wasn't even as bad as a cavity filling.

I wore my MP3 player.  I was terrified too.  I did not have the greatest time with mine but they did 5 of them.  Blech! LOL

It is not bad. It is over in a few minutes. You just have to lay still during the procedure. Try to think about something pleasant, and before you realize they are done.  Good luck.
