175mCi of radioactive fun tomorrow.  I'll be in the hospital at least two days, more likely three, then isolated at home the rest of the week.  Woo hoo!  At least I can see a pinpoint of light at the end of the hypo heck tunnel!

My endo dr wants me to see an ENT for hoarseness since having RAI in December.

Monday: 8/3  New Dr.  ENT.... for hoarseness and not being able to completely swallow food.  Since the rai treatment I have had trouble swallowing food and sometimes just swallowing period.  The food seems to get stuck in my throat.
It also seems as if I have some type of tickle going on.  I am forever trying to clear my throat and my ears.  My ears always feel clogged.   So hopefully the ENT can help straighten this all out.  I should stock own stock in halls.  I am forever buying a bag.

Tuesday: 8/4 Another new Dr..... Neuro-Opthamalogist for proptosis in the right eye

My memory is shot to you know where in a hand basket.  I have just about given up on the memory issue.  They think its all in my head... Dr's and family

I have problems with memory issues as well, and word retrieval, I can give you the definition, but not the word. It is hysterical, but frustrating....

I will go to my endo on Tuesday to get the results of my 6 month full body scan that I had 2 weeks ago. Nothing like making me wait!

On another note, I notice Cheryl that you bring up word retrieval issues. I've noticed that happening to me as well. My TSH is .096 as of 2 weeks ago and I feel fine but notice that I do have trouble sometimes. I also have trouble remembering what the heck I'm supposed to do when I walk into a room. I have to actually stop and think. I didn't realize it could be related to the low TSH. Will definitely talk to the endo about this.

OK .. I MUST call my Endo this week to schedule a TSH blood draw since my meds changed from 88mcgs to 75mcgs over 2 mos ago.  I feel great!!!!  But the #'s need to be checked because of cancer supression.  My issue is that I get hyper symptoms ranging from mild to moderate with anything below TSH <1.3 ..and they really want it below 1.0 but it really is anxiety ridden for me with word retrieval issues, too, so is not going to fly ,. they are ok with it at 1.8 last time on 75mcgs so let's hope it's there at the 1.8 cause I feel great and that may be the balance of quality of life and supression given my nat'l hormonal TSH is <2.8 !!
