Truly hope you see more days like this one..enjoy each moment of the good times. Take Care-Pam
Thank you all my sisters thankyou from the bottom of my bi polar heart.I am praying I feel this good tomorrow.
Love Venora
I know just how you feel, sort of! LOL I was off meds all together for quite some time, I'd gained a ton of weight, felt lethargic and tired and worn out all the time. I didn't sleep well, all I wanted to do was eat and veg out. When I started to "get fit" last year (one yr ago today to be exact!!!) I still struggled and man, when I got back on my Synthroid it was like BAM!! energy released from the pits of my soul baby! I suddenly had a jump in my step, a smile all the time and just felt amazing! My skin cleared up, my hair stopped falling out, all sorts of amazing things. I am sure it was a combo of the fitness AND the meds together but it was crazy and I kept waiting for it to all crash on me.... it never did! I had no clue I was having more thyroid problems till' I went in for a blood pressure check up back in July. All of a sudden my world was upside down again.... but I am keeping positive and just going to use this surgery as a push to keep getting better and better and healthier and stronger every day. LOTS of hugs and prayers for you.... just try to enjoy the good times! I believe in the power of positive thinking as half the battle!

Hi, Venora--
I have been away from the forum for quite a few days (buried under piles of work). The last time I visited, it was just as you had come down with your fourth cold since your surgery, and it seemed as if you had every reason to resign from the human race, if such a thing was possible.
Especially because of that recent misery, your good news seems like GREAT news to me! I think I know what you mean about being scared, though. Even if you did not have the bi polar possibility in the back of your mind, it can be scary to feel so yucky for so long, then suddenly feel so good that you are reminded of what good health feels like (and reminded that you used to have it), but wonder if one day of feeling wonderfully well might be a fluke, or have you turned the corner at last? It has to be hard to take your own advice! I am saying a prayer for you that the way you are feeling today will stay with you.
Sending you an e-hug,
Jenny
AMEN!!! Enjoy it and we'll pray that it lasts forever!
