OH Totie, hugs hun, I know my situation is nothing compared to others. I am just so frustrated and I guess this was my rant.
I am sooo glad you got an endo appointment! I'll be praying that its a good one.
I posted some of my ct and us pics because I saw something I wanted some comments on then took them off b/c my name and dob were included. I have yet to find a program (one I have anyway) to black out my info so I can repost, I am working on it. Maybe that will give me some clue. I really am beginning to think this is not just my thyroid.
Believe me i know how you feel. Still going down that road as we speak. I had to go back to my dr. for a second occurance of oral thursh within two weeks. Very painful. Lost another 3lbs. Trust me I look disgusting being this size.
She did more lab work again....my legs still ache, still urinate frequently, still have night sweats. Last week she thought i had addisons disease, due to some blood test that came back high, i thing the aldosterone, she is not sure, so not being treated until i see an endocrinologist, yesterday she told me she could be wrong.....
I read the CT Scan of the pelvis, and it showed two cysts one on each ovary, but I guess nothing to worry about because she did not mention it. I also read the report on the mass in my pelvis on the tumor, they do not know what it is and due to location can not biopsy it, the radiologist suggested an MRI on it, but she did not mention anything about it, I only know because i got copies of my medical records. I keep asking if that could be the problem, she says no.....
Good note is that i do finally have an appt. with an endocrinologist next Friday, about 100 miles away, but I am not complaining.
Why can't you just request it be removed? Is it an insurance thing, or a surgeon thing?
As you have told me before, do not give up................
Honestly - what else is there to do? I have half a mind to stop the med so it will continue to swell enough for a diagnosis then start the med again, that is how frustrated I am. Subacute thyroiditis may fit, but what I read, it still has changes in bloodwork.
Stella the toothache thyroid queen, THANK YOU.
posted my new normal lab results - until this neck swelling either chokes me, renders me unconscience, or protrudes enough for a doctor to think it is significant, I QUIT.
Huggles to you Stella - you toothache ridden queen of thyroid!
I think you should goggle subacute thyroidtitis
I was just this morning reading about normal TSH and swelling.
