I stop eating before 6 PM and my take my 88mcg of T4 @ 10 PM;

Then I take my 10 mcg of T3 around 7 AM on an empty stomach and put off eating an
hour or more.

It works well for me.

I feel not eating after 6PM helps keeps my weight down which I could not do before.

many patients find that doing this works well. Mary has many patients that like doing it that way.

One of her moderators takes it at night and does well.

The thing others find is insominia happens more. That's why some just can't do it that way.

Another great alternative with these meds is ultilizing thi8s with meds AND supplements.

Most patients need a supplement regimin to get the most out of their body building their systems back up with vits and minerals.

Its difficult to time things and some supplements interfere with these meds so I find and alot of others decided to go with the route of taking their meds in the morning or splitting through the day and taking all their supplements at night when the body naturally sleeps and re-energizes for the next day. It seems the supplements increase that cycle at sleep for many of the thyroid patients.

I had read that article also, or something similar and had been thinking of trying to take the T4 at night and Cytomel in the morning, since you don't have to wait to eat after the Cytomel. Sure would make it easier to get a start on the day. I read it a little while ago, doesn't it say that they've found that the thyroid naturally peaks at night? Has anybody tried it? It would be so great if it helped me to sleep, I'm having a lot of trouble.

It is a very interesting article!!

Would be interesting to see what a study with a bigger, more representative sample shows!!!!
